Project Area of Specialization Internet of ThingsProject SummaryOur project title is PFI Power factor improvment Panel based on IOT technology. Whivh perfome the operation with the modrenity. A power factor improvment panel is used to improve the power factor which is necessory now a days to utilize the power and it prevents the eqipments or machine from damage. The IOT section of our project contain Ardiano mega and wifi module which ahelps to operate the panel automatically by using Andriod mobile application. When the poer factor is needed to be improve with the help of the application we connect the capacitors automatically so it help in time saving and reduce the risk of operation of the panel.
Project Objectives- It can be used at both high voltage level ang low voltage level.
- It can be used at industries.
- It can also be used at domestic level.
First of all the panel is installed by a specialist. Than it is very easy to use. The system system contains sensors and controller with the help of these equipments the power factor rating is send via wifi automation to the Andriod moble and with the help of application the rating can be increased for the desired values.
Benefits of the Project- Reduces the cost of conductor by reducing the size of conductor.
