Ubiquitous healthcare is an emerging technology that promises increases in efficiency, accuracy and availability of medical treatment due to the recent advances in wireless communication and in electronics offering small and intelligent sensors able to be used on, around, in or implanted in the human body. This project is used to monitor patients in a hospital as well as home/clinics with the help of real time monitoring and gives information about the parameters of health of the patient. And also helps the doctor and experts to monitor the patient’s conditions. Continuous information of the patients could be analyzed using our system. The communication medium between doctor and patient is based on Iot (Internet of Things) to stored the data of patient in web server through internet protocol(IP). Patient id and password required for login the system. The parameters of patient like temperature, blood pressure, ECG, SPO2 and Heartbeat. Features of the system are doctors could monitor the patient with real time monitoring. The doctor can view condition of the patient and do the treatment accordingly, the attention towards the patient is much more than before with the system, doctors and experts can login into the website using username and password which enhance security of the system and database will be updated periodically.

Project Implementation Method

There are several steps implement to complete the project in which the first and the most necessary step is to GPIO pins connection. Then installing parameters of health sensors and programming all sensors according to the human body. Create a website for live monitoring for patients and include all sensors with programming. . After connecting internet to the ‘Raspberry Pi’ it act as a server. Then the server is automatically sends data to the website. Using IP address anybody can monitor the patient’s health status anywhere in the world using laptops, tablets and smart phones.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

• Raspberry pi is better so, that it is used for accurate results

• It is "Health Pi" based so it gives the monitoring result of that patient

• Higher productivity low maintenance 

• The clinical information database contains all data regarding the patients in electronic form.
