Keeping in mind the recent pandemic situation(Covid-19) of the whole world, we see that the government decided to block those areas where there was a high rate of infected people recorded so that people would not be allowed to leave those areas in order to avoid more spreading of the disease. For this, the forces were handed over the job to cover those areas. To make the job easy, we have developed an android application using react native, in which the red zones will be shown on the map to the admin and all the civilians residing in the locked areas are registered so that they can be easily tracked. If by any chance a person managed to get out of the locked area, an alert/push notification will be sent to the admin and he/she can take further actions. The civilians will be given any and all kinds of emergency services, the admin will be directly notified if someone requests for a service, the admin will forward this request to the relevant department e.g. Fire department, Police department, etc. with the details about the location and the necessary precautions to be taken. This application is very useful from the government's point of view, and indirectly helping the country by reducing the spreading of the disease and cope with this pandemic situation.

Project Objectives

During this ever-growing technological world, we never thought that after the last pandemic situation of the swine flu, we would ever see the situation that a different kind of life-threatening situation would occur. Even though the Covid-19 situation is a lot controlled after losing lives, we are hoping that if something ever does happen in the future, we are at least prepared for it. With respect to this situation, we have to enhance our technologies to control pandemic situations remotely. So, if we control these situations with manpower, we only end up increasing the spread of the disease. Our application will enable us to remotely control the situation while simultaneously reducing the spread of the disease along with easily helping the civilians in an emergency.

Project Implementation Method

We have used API for google Maps Implementation while creating Red zones. All of our data has been stored on firebase. User data is stored on firebase during signup which is used for violations. We get the current position of the user and with that, the user finds out if he/she enters or exits a red zone. 

Benefits of the Project

This project is designed keeping in mind the current pandemic situation. During this situation, the people have not followed the SOP’s correctly and have roamed outside unnecessarily. We intend to develop an application that can somehow force people to stay inside during lockdown.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

Pandemic Situation Controlling System application enables any user (Civilian, Medical officer, or Bureaucrat) to know which areas are under lockdown. This in return helps the user to know which areas to avoid or take extra precaution in.
