Project Summary
Optimizing the health and well-being of people with disabilities is essential to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). SDGs provide a powerful framework to guide local communities, countries and the international community toward the achievement of disability-inclusive development but in Pakistan these goals are not applicable; therefore, disabled persons are suffering from lack of information about their rights.
The main objective of our project is to aware people of the rights of disabled persons by providing all the rights of the disabled person according to UNO SDGs and will also provide the knowledge of schools, hospitals, stores; NGO’s that facilitate disable persons and will also signup there. Our project is to provide the web-based solution for the persons with the disabilities. Persons with disabilities use this portal and select what they want to do at that time so, in this way we try to provide a medium or a channel which they have use and view the information of their supportive institute (NGO’s, Schools, Hospitals & Stores).
Project Objectives
This project will provide a website to users. Its objectives are:
- The main objective of our project is to aware people about the rights of disabled persons by providing all the the information of UNO's SDG rules.
- Provide platform for disabled persons by which they can find which organization or person can help them and also for NGO's if they want to do donation for disabled people they can also donate on our portal.
