Introduction

            Our Web application “Online Medicines Donation” will help needy people to get their medicines easily, Hospital will play an intermediate role in our system. Hospital will provide medicines to the needy people after making sure that medicines are valid and not expired. Our system is web based which will be developed using advanced web technology with MySql database.

Problem Statement:

After the completion of any medical treatment, usually we discard the leftover        medicines. Meanwhile scores of underprivileged people struggle to afford medicines. Many people don’t get cured because they can’t afford the medicines, but meanwhile some of us waste expensive medicines after using enough amount to get cure. There is systematic problem which is causing failure of our health management somewhere.

Problem Solution:

This web application aims to solve this issue by enabling users to donate unused medicines to NGOs. Along with individuals, pharmacies, care centers, manufacturers, etc, can also donate medicines. This will not only make a barrier of wasting medicines but also help the people in many ways, especially this will make a chain between people who want to donate and people who want to get. We will involve NGO’s in coordination because they have more social power to get in touch with needy people.

The main motivation for the “Online Medicines Donation” app is to build an opportunity where donor and needy people can provide and get their services respectively. Designing and implementing a completely commercialized software and professional environment will not only help the donor but also help to come over the main health problem in our society, It’s very interesting and valuable idea to implement.

Waterfall model is used for this project.It bhas different stages for project development.It uses detailed documentation.

• Analysis: In analysis phase we will analyze the problem statement and proposed or plan a solution for that problem.
• Design: After the analysis of the project next step is to design a project.Design step may also contains the coding for project.
• Implementation: In this step we implement the coding ans prepare a website for the problem that is explain in the analysis phase.
• Testing: After the implementation of the project we will test the solution so that we will know that the project fullfill the requirements or not.
