CIBS(Credit Information Bureau System)  collects and maintains records of individual's payments pertaining to loans and credit cards.These records are submitted to CIBS by member Banks and credit information is then used to create Credit Information reports (CIR) and credit scores which are provided to credit institution in order to help evaluate and approve loan applications.

Project Objectives

1- CIBS  collects commercial and consummer credit-related data and collates such data to create and distribute credit reports to its members which are credit institutions and banks in Pakistan.

2- CiBS products, especially  the credit information report (CIR) and CIBS transUnion Score are very important in loan approval process.

3- The CIR and Credtit score nopt only help loan providers  identify consumers who are likely to be able to pay back their loans, but also help them to  do this more  quickly and economically. This translates it in to faster loan approvals for consumers.

4- CIBS empowers both loan providers and individuals to see their financial and credit history more clearly and hence,take better and more informed decisions.

Project Implementation Method

Firstly we create a loan application forms for applicant which is  placed on the Bank websites and that are the Member of  CIBS . if anyone apply for a loan , we create  loan Detail  in the Bank website and Send it to CIBS, if anyone considered as defaulter.CIBS create a score of that defaulter and save it to its database and if any Bank website who is the member of CIBS want a score then it will give the score to that Bank.

Benefits of the Project

CIBS score give the first impression to the lender about the borrower’s creditworthiness. Therefore, the first step in the loan approval process is checking the credit score of the borrower. When you give your loan application to the lender, it first checks your credit score and if satisfied with credit score, then only it proceeds for further processing of your application. So, if you maintain a good credit score, the lender will look at other factors, such as your repayment capabilities and so on, while if you have a lower credit score, the lender will show reluctance in offering you loan. Your application may be rejected out-rightly.
