The project working is that if any patient wants to consult any doctor from any hospital, they take appointments online and received confirmation messages into the contact number and have many more features which is describe in project objectives.

The project is on android and windows application. Android application will be used by patients or persons those who want to consult any doctor in specific organization. This project is applicable for both clinics and hospitals because the project provides packages for both of them. The project is solving real world problem of patients and hospitals/clinics and have financial scope nowadays.

Due to high traffic the space near the small hospitals is very limited due to a lot of patients the traffic problems increase and most important the chance of spreading of communicable diseases is increases so that’s why the hospitals are willing to purchase these kinds of software which maintain the discipline of organizations.

Project Objectives

The HAS (Online Appointment System With HL7) project will meet the following objectives:

• Online appoint booking and alert by text messaging to the patient before their turn.
• Online uploading of medication reports.
• To achieve more accurate time management.
• The rate of spreading of communicable disease will also be managed.

 

Project Implementation Method

1. Laravel, for System Application prototyping and programming.
2. Java Script, PHP, HTML/CSS Programming Languages, for coding.
3. Android Application.
4. Database, to save information.

Benefits of the Project

The scope of this project includes and excludes the following items.

1. online appointments of any doctor from any hospitals.

2. upload medication report for doctor’s suggestion.

3. manage patients crowd in the hospital.

4. patient can utilize that time where they wait for their appointment.

5. manage the spreading of communicable diseases.

6. facility of online pharmacy also (in future).

7. provide information of as much as about all common diseases.

8. The internal department of hospital also interact with each other with the help of this software

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

Our final product is an application on web based and android also which has all the features listed above and will be used is hospitals and clinics for taking appointments online of any consult doctor and the system will also send the appointment details on the contact number through a message containing the details of the appointment and user can also share his/her medication reports with the doctor through the application and can also see the symptoms of any common disease and if he/she cannot be able to visit the hospital or clinic so he/she can communicate with the consult doctor through the application.
