Project Area of Specialization Artificial IntelligenceProject SummaryIn our industry there is a high requirement for aluminium and glass stores to manage their items and detail of stocks and cutting the aluminium sheets (or rods) and glass according to the exact measurement. Nowadays cutting of aluminium rods or sheets and glass sheets for doors and windows are manually. There is a lot of waste of material like glass pieces or aluminium rods or sheets that’s why it took too much cost, more effort and time consuming. I surveyed some of the aluminium and glass stores they are working manually and observed that there are different types of glass sheets and aluminium rods and sheets. In this field human operators are responsible for the cut list calculations. Which are considered to be a complex procedure with sharp responsibility.
Project ObjectivesThis is a web-based application. We will use our own artificial intelligence-based algorithm which will give an exact output of cutting pieces of aluminium and glass. The length of aluminiuam rods and glass sheets is of maximum size; the system will give us proper size and quantity of aluminium sheets (or rods) and glass. It will give a reliable solution for the manually cutting of aluminium and glass cutting lists problem. It will organize and preserve all the information of customers, all information about the stock (like different types of product, different categories, different qualities, etc). It will manage all the accounts and invoicing systems. Mainly, the System will give an accurate solution for the cutting list using an algorithm. They will depend on different types of products and it will calculate the material which is required for all processes.

This web application can help the user to reduce the time cost and effort and also helpful to save the raw material which has been wasted during the cutting
Technical Details of Final DeliverableIt is responsible of generation of doors and windows cutting lists. The manager inputs width, height, quantity, type (gate or window), and number of panels (2 panels or 4 panels) for every measured door or window with different widths and heights. The solution engine then computes the input data in a series of complex calculations according to the business rules adopted in this domain. The output of these calculations is to give precise values (measurements) for each of the parts to be cut
