Project Summary

Pakistan is one of the countries suffering from terrorism. The main threats for the Pakistan security systems are places with a lot of crowd, such as railway stations, shopping malls, airports etc. Our main focus is on Railway stations because railway stations in Pakistan are one of the most crowded places with less security systems. In these cases, we usually have security guards, which can be somewhat expensive. However, such measures are not sufficient all due to human errors.  Considering this, we need to employ latest technology such as Internet-of-Things to solve such security issues.

Project Objectives

The objective of our project is to recognize human behaviour with the help of object detection and face recognition and deploy it in Railway stations and provide reliable cctv services.

Project Implementation Method

In terms of implementation of this project we will use a centralized DVR connected to a server or computer on which custom-made OS for vision control system will be installed. The operating system is also custom made using buildroot it is basically a linux distro in terms of coding we are using python with tensorflow-gpu, Keras, numpy and some other small python libraries like pillow and OpenCV. We will implement a machine learning algorithm trained on human behavior which can detect unusual behavior of any person, moreover object detection for detection of unusual object around and their belongings.

Such as object detection, human behavior analyzer, Event analyzer (for any mishap like fire etc. And will give insights about how many people need help), Cloud based storage systems with efficient recordings, supervised machine learning after deployment.
