Project Area of Specialization RoboticsProject SummaryOC Camera Based Vehicle Number Plate Recognition System is an image processing technology which uses number (license) plate to identify the vehicle. The objective is to design an efficient automatic authorized vehicle identification system by using the vehicle number plate. The system is implemented on the entrance for security control of a highly restricted area like military zones or area around top government offices e.g. Parliament, Supreme Court etc. The developed system first detects the vehicle and Vehicle number plate region is extracted using the image segmentation in an image. Optical character recognition technique is used for the character recognition. The resulting data is then used to compare with the records on a database if record true so as to come up with the specific information like the vehicle owner, Registration Status,CNIC, address, etc and Enterance barel liftup or Entrance Gate Open.
Project ObjectivesThere are alot of traffics, and reserved parking are used by unauthorized person, The objective is to design an efficient automatic authorized vehicle identification system by using the vehicle number plate. after this verification then barrel as an obstacle can be remove by lifting upward direction. by this only authorized vehicle can enter and park it.

Design Circuits and make barel
=> Implement A Computer Application
Design and Program/code the Software.
First of all we shall design a Hardware means Arduino connect with circuits and Program the Arduino and After we shall Design & Code the Application and Application make connectivity with Hardware.
For Working Project Connect with CPU or Raspberry pi and arduino Circuit with barel.

Benefits of the ProjectBy this proposed project only authorized vehicle can be entered which authenticated by system and once it successful detected then barrel will lift upward, it work for institutes, restaurant, army cantonment areas, Organization , Gymkhana and Apartments.
Technical Details of Final DeliverableIn this project we will impement CPU or Raspberry pi, Arduino and camera , computer Application Barrel with connected Ciruit, for further understanding we added complete Diagram.
