Project Objectives

The robot has capacity to detect the obstacle in its path based on the predetermined threshol distance.After the detection of obstacle the robot should be able to change its direction to a relatively open path by making an autonomous decision.It is design to allow robot to navigate in the environment without collisions.

Project Implementation Method

The aim of this project is to implement anĀ  abstacle avoiding robot using ultrasonic sensor and Arduino.The project is design to build an obstacle avoiding robotic vehicles using ultrasonic sensor for its movement.

Benefits of the Project

Obstacle Avoiding Robot is design to allow robot to navigate in unknown environment by avoiding collisions.It senses obstacles in the pat, avoid it and resume its running. Whenever robot senses any obstacles it diverts its position.It does not require man power.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

The obstacle Avoidance Robotic Vehicles uses Ultrasonic sensors for its movements.A microcontroller of 8051 families is esed to achieve the desired operation.The motors are connected through the motor driver IC to the motor controller. The ultrasonic sensor is attached in front of the robot.
