Project Summary

Purchasing and selling products and services over the internet without the need of going physically to the market is what online grocery shopping all about. Online grocery shopping is just like a retail store shopping that we do by going to the market, but it is done through the internet. Online grocery shopping has made shopping painless and added more fun. This system will be designed to allow users to buy online products, the sellers will register their stores by downloading the app and rider will deliver the products to the desired destination. Customers will be able to see different monthly and daily packages deals. Shopping cart is one of the important capability, provided in online shopping, this lets customer to browse different goods and services and once they select an item to purchase they can place the item in shopping cart, and continue browsing till the final selection. Customers can even remove the items from shopping cart that were selected earlier before they place the final order. It reminds us of shopping basket that we carry in departmental store Customer can also do location-based search.Our shopping system will allow customers to buy groceries, food items, and much more from their nearest store with ease. Our app will facilitate the customers to find the nearest store, select their products, make payment  .The sellers will register their store, can enlist their products with their relevant details and will wait for the order, after the successful delivery seller with get the feedback from the customer .A rider can register himself with admin permission and will wait for the notification of delivery from the nearest store and will deliver items from store to the buyer within the time agreed between the seller and the rider .

Project Implementation Method

This project will be developed in android studio with firebase database. our project have three basic madues customer,seller and rider. 

Hardware Interfaces

• The System must run over the internet, all the hardware e.g. smart phones shall require connecting internet will be hardware interface for the system.

    Software Interfaces

• The software must follow the MVC (Model-View-Controller) model for modeling and displaying data objects. The interfaces must be able to make stable connections with database in order to store, retrieve and display the required information/data.
• Since, this is an android based application, hence it will only need an Android version 4.2 or higher in order to perform. Moreover, XML (software interfaces) interfaces are needed.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

This project will be developed in android studio with firebase database.Whentheuser gets registered, he/she will get a code through sms for verification. After entering the correct code, the account will be verified and the user will be able to see homepage.When the customer will enter location, the user will be able to view stores in that particular area and seller will enter the all the details to register thire store also rider with provide his/her detailts and bike details to register.
