As a result, the dynamics of online shopping have shifted significantly, as many entrepreneurs have discovered multi-vendor marketplaces to be the ideal solution for establishing a presence in a competitive market. To facilitate transactions, these online marketplaces act as a digital middleman between buyers
and sellers. Buyers have a large selection of items to choose from, and sellers have a large audience for their products. Consumers now trust these online marketplaces more because they offer a diverse range of products from both small and large retailers around the world. Because of the convenience that these virtual marketplaces provide, they have become the drivers of internet economies all over the world.
Project ObjectivesThe goal of this project is to create a platform for buyers and sellers that is easy to use and also secure. The cryptocurrency feature will add value to our project along with some machine learning and image processing modules that will make our website user-friendly.
Project Implementation MethodThis project will be implemented using an agile software development cycle throughout the phases of design, development, and research.
Benefits of the Project- It will resolve the security concerns of the user as AI Algorithms and Machine Learning will be implemented in order to authenticate every user.
- A blockchain payment gateway will be deployed so that both seller and buyer can benefit from it and do online purchasing via their crypto wallets.
- Sellers will be able to create their stores so that they can sell anything on the platform creating a lot of business opportunities for the sellers. That will ultimately boost the economy.
This will be a website supported with all the browsers that uses javascript. This is because our project will be developed completely on MERN stack i.e. React javascript for the front-end and Node.js at the back end. Moreover CSS, HTML, and, Express JS will also be utilized.
