Project Area of Specialization RoboticsProject SummaryA multi purpose gesture control mobile robot is a machine that is programable by a computer, capable of carrying out series of tasks over gesture control.This robot can be externally controlled by control devices or it can be controlled with controler embended within the circuitry.How ever, our robot is semi-autonomous with desirable range to perform desired tasks.The design, construction, operation, and application is based upon its sensory feedback.In addition, the architechtural structure of robot is similar to human body except it has no legs, it moves on wheels.The upper part of robot has 2 robotic arms that mimic human gesture.

ROBOTIC ARMS
Each robotic arm consists of 7 -8 motors(stepper(57mm 2 phase high torque 2.8N.m step motor nema 23) and dc gear(24v 2.5 amp)), with motor drivers(CW5045 stepper motor driver for nema 23 stepper motor). Each arm has minimum 6 DOF. SIze of each arm is 1.5 feet in length. Controlling of arm can be acheive over gestures or automation. The robotic arms are manufactured using aluminum metal.
TRUNK
Trunk is basically a supporting body made of aluminum for arms, base, and head. All the motor drivers and circuitry are placed in trunk. Trunk is rectangular in shape with a size of 2x2.5 feet.
RC VEHICLE
For mobility of robot, we use RC remote with a frequency of 2.4GHz. It consists of 4 dc gear motors. The structure is madeup of aluminum metal.
HEAD AND CAMERAS
Camera, 1080P WiFi Camera Wireless Surveillance Cameras, IP Camera with Two-Way Audio, IP66 Waterproof, Night Vision, Motion Detection access points which allows the user to access the network over android application.
CONTROLLING JACKET
For controlling robot, all the Electromyography Sensor (EMG) and transmiters(XBEE) are placed on jacket. Operator will have to wear this jacket to operate the robot.
