CCTV (CLOSED CIRCUIT TELEVISION) cameras are becoming increasingly important in surveillance and security operations. These surveillance systems are being used by firms and organizations to keep close tabs on their surroundings. The surveillance security system has emerged as the most important area of research in the computer vision community. The basic goal of a security system like this is to detect odd and suspicious activity like theft and violence. Surveillance security using CCTV cameras is a time-consuming and monotonous job because such a system necessitates constant monitoring and is dependent on human operators. As a result, we're developing a high-tech automated surveillance system.
Project ObjectivesThe main objective of our project is to reduce human work as our system will detect suspicious activity and also give us a time frame in which anything unusual happens and stop ongoing unusual activity by alerting the authorities using the camera more efficaciously.
The objectives of our project are to prevent the following activities.
- Theft
- Unauthorized access
- Wasting time watching the whole CCTV recording.
Many additional and often overlooked security systems can help keep you and all your belongings safe. This project cuts across a wide range of areas from the computing field and is required to conduct several types of research to achieve the project objectives.
- In this security system, only authorized people can have access to enter the place. If any unauthorized person tries to enter, this system will detect that person.
- The other feature is, sending alerts to the authority.
- Video of that particular time frame when an unauthorized person tries to access it will send to the authority.
- Users can access the system through an application.
- Users will get the notification as soon as an unauthorized person is detected.
- The model will be able to detect unauthorized access and inform the authorities about the unauthorized access and as a result, increase public safety.
- The model will be implemented with image processing techniques such as face detection, gray scaling, and recognition for high accuracy with OpenCV using the Voila-Jones algorithm which helps in image processing.
- This project includes a data analysis process that is genetically improved by deep learning models such as Convolutional Neural Network (CNN), Recurrent Neural Network (RNN) & You Only Look Once (YOLO).
- This project provides the result of a deep learning model that detects unauthorized access.
- The result of the recognition obtained by these models reflects the value of our database and provides a range of additional functionalities.
Time is the key nowadays as the world becomes so fast that people want quick results from everything. When an incident happens, we watch long video recordings and wait for hours and days to collect proof. Our motivation for this project is to stop suspicious activities by taking instant action and giving instant proof of that suspicious activity by providing video clips of that particular part to the authorities. Providing proof and taking instant action on robbery and other criminal activities can decrease the crime rate. It took so much time for our security personals to collect the proof and video clips of the incident therefore our motivation is to make a camera based on Artificial Intelligence that can alert authorities by generating an alert and providing them the video clip as proof so they don’t waste theirs by watching long video recordings. This camera can be used in government and private sectors to deal with criminals more efficiently.

It will help to respond to market dynamics. Initially, we analyze the planning of the project to design an advanced surveillance system and made a successful strategy to develop planning by taking the reviews of our supervisors to improve the quality of the final product and then implement the design to make the final product after testing.

Scrum is a methodology for overcoming various adaptive challenges while producing and delivering high-value solutions in a productive and creative manner. Scrum is a lightweight framework that aids individuals, teams, and businesses in creating value by allowing them to adapt to complicated situations. Scrum is a natural progression of Agile Management. Scrum methodology is based on a set of extremely specific procedures and roles that must be followed throughout the software development process. It's a flexible methodology that rewards product team members that use. A collection of objectives/requirements that make up the project plan serves as the beginning point for the process. The project's client prioritizes these goals based on a balance of value and cost; this is how iterations and subsequent delivery are determined.
