Project Area of Specialization Software EngineeringProject SummaryWe propose system "movement of mouse cursor using gaze estimation" , through which we can move mouse cursor, using our eye gaze. This system is a replacement of existing systems in which expensive and complex hardware is
used. It will use simple hardware,i,.e LED,Computer screen,Camera,power supply which is easy to handle . This system will be used to provide a direct connection between user and computer. There will be no need of any medium, like mouse for the interaction. The main purpose of this system is to eliminate the use of mouse.Product features are characteristics of our product that describe its appearance, components, and capabilities.
Detection of pupil: Pupil of the user is detected by the LEDs.
Calibration: User’s eyes will be calibrated using glint
points.
Mapping: The detected points will be mapped on screen, using cross-ratio.
Gaze Tracking:User’s gaze will be tracked, i.e. where his eyes are moving.
Cursor Movement: Mouse cursor will be used by gaze tracking.
Project ObjectivesThe main objectives are:
•To make a natural interaction between computers and humans, without the need of any mouse.
•To help disable people to operate and control the computer systems effectively.
•Remove or limit the use of mouse.

Benefits of the ProjectIn real world this system will help disable people to operate and control the computer systems effectively. The Handicapped people face lot many problems in interacting and communicating with computer machines and unable to use the mouse function as easily as normal people do. So, this system will help them interacting to the computers.
