Project Summary

This project improvises home automation and  home security system using GSM. When people are away from their home they are unaware from there home securty  in real time.Moreover appliances which are being installed in our homes require real monitoring inorder to consume energy efficiently and to avoid any emergency situation.The main objective of this project is to design reliable and flexible monitoring and control system forour home appliances and home security system with the help of ESP and GSM respectively. 

 We nuse ESP 8266 module inorder to communicate between user and home devices as a wifi router.we also used GSM based communication for security system by using a simple WEB page.This project provides global access to home appliances by using internet.

Project Objectives

• Home automation is now a days very common and smart way to control home appliances by using internet. the main objective of this project is to control home appliance like fan, bulb,heater etc.  using internet through web browser.

• The second main objective of this project is to obtain improvise security of home through gsm based communication.

Project Implementation Method

• We used ESP which is a wifi module and is connected with internet and controls our home appliances.
• Also GSM module is used for security system which sends message to our mobile, when motion is detected infront of PIR sensor.
• The information about appliances is updated on our web page and similarly we switch on and off our home appliances according to our desire inorder to avoid energy wasted.
