Especially A.I Robots are very useful in every aspect and one of them is education sector where they help human beings in different fields. Our project is to design a robot that can help peoples in developing interest in their learning process. This robot can be helpful in schools and homes. In this era of technology, where the people are exposed to technology devices more than ever, our robot will help them to learn and grow and also to be a useful citizen for a country.

Project Objectives

Our objective is to develop an AI based smart robot which will have multiple features related to learning and detection. It will be equipped with HD camera to process the live image and video and perform features like object detection, human face detection and human following feature the more an emotional intelligence user can interact with robot using voice commands that sensing and region captured through camera. Learning feature based on STEM education will help children to boost their educational and knowledge skills. It will be equipped with ultrasonic sensor which help robot in autonomous movement.

Project Implementation Method

In this project, we will be using raspberry pi 4 as main controller for the whole project. Logitech HD 1080p camera will be used to capture image and video. Ultrasonic sensor will be used to detect any obstacle and hurdle. Robotics chassis motors will be drive using L298 dual channel driver. It will also have touch screen LCD display for display output and read our touch inputs.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

Raspberry pi 4 with 8GB RAM is the core controller of the project. One of the modules interfaced with the controller is camera. We will be using Logitech HD 1080p (c615) camera which will be interfaced using USB port. Sensors will be powered by 5v and interfaced with the GPIO of raspberry pi. The whole project is powered with 8v rechargeable battery. For 5v, we will use LM2596-5v buck converter. DC motor will be drive using L298N dual channel driver with 8v supply from battery.
