We designed Smart Floor Cleaning Robot, as households of today are becoming smarter and more automated. Home automation delivers convenience and creates more time for people. Domestic robots are entering the homes and people’s daily lives, but it is yet a relatively new and immature market. However, a growth is predicted and the adoption of domestic robots is evolving.  Several  robotic  vacuum  cleaners  are  available  on  the  market  but  only  few  ones implement wet cleaning of floors.

 The purpose of this project is to design and implement a smart cleaning Robot Autonomous and Manual via Phone Application. Smart floor Cleaning Robot is designed to make cleaning process become easier rather than by using vacuum and mop control. At the point when it is turned ON, it sucks in the residue by moving all around the surface as it disregards it. The controller is utilized to drive the engines and the suction unit likewise a few sensors are utilized to keep away from the obstructions. Arduino Due, Ultrasonic sensors, EDS power fan, IR sensors, Digital Compass 

(gy-273), Motor driver (L298N), are the main components to achieve the goal of this project.

Project Objectives

Basically, robotic cleaners are distinguished on their cleaning expertise like floor mopping, dry vacuum cleaning etc. The main objective of this work is to provide a substantial solution to the problem of manufacturing robotic cleaner utilizing local resources while keeping it low costs.

Main purpose of this project is cleaning due to following aspects:

• We can save our time by using this robot. 

• Able to go under furniture and around corners

Project Implementation Method

A number of software and hardware implementation techniques were used to design and develop the system. The block diagram of system. We used a LN-298 motor driver, Arduino Due,ESP-32, Digital Compass (gy-273), Different Sensors, Vacuum and Mop mechanism.

Floor cleaning robot is the solution to the stated problem. One-time investment in a reliable machine is much better than monthly expense of a maid. The robot features an intelligent navigation system that would map the room according to the dimensions. Sensors help the robot detect the obstacles the robot also features brushes spinning in opposite direction, dragging the dust inward. The dust is picked up by the vacuum and collected in the dust compartment. The water compartment is used to wet the mop. The mop cloth is replaceable and can be retracted inside the body to keep it from getting dusty when not in use.

PCB Design

Printed circuit board (PCB) design brings your electronic circuits to life in the physical form. Using layout software, Utilizing format programming, PCB configuration process joins segment situation and directing to characterize electrical network on a produced circuit board.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

The project proposed here is an Autonomous and Manual via Phone Application, And Arduino due based floor cleaning Robot. The system is capable of cleaning the floor using vacuum and cleaning mop. The system can work absent a lot of loss of human physical vitality. The framework is furnished with an Arduino control which utilizes Digital compass for route. The ESP-32 module is utilized for wireless connectivity. The android application can be utilized to control the robot’s different functions i-e Vacuum on/off, Brushes on/off, Mop up/down, By utilizing the application microcontroller peruses the incentive from the Wi-Fi module sends relating information to the vacuum cleaning robot. To control the robot utilized microcontroller. This project facilitates efficient floor cleaning with Sweeping and mopping operations.
