We designed Smart Floor Cleaning Robot, as households of today are becoming smarter and more automated. Home automation delivers convenience and creates more time for people. Domestic robots are entering the homes and people’s daily lives, but it is yet a relatively new and immature market. However, a growth is predicted and the adoption of domestic robots is evolving. Several robotic vacuum cleaners are available on the market but only few ones implement wet cleaning of floors.
The purpose of this project is to design and implement a smart cleaning Robot Autonomous and Manual via Phone Application. Smart floor Cleaning Robot is designed to make cleaning process become easier rather than by using vacuum and mop control. At the point when it is turned ON, it sucks in the residue by moving all around the surface as it disregards it. The controller is utilized to drive the engines and the suction unit likewise a few sensors are utilized to keep away from the obstructions. A number of software and hardware implementation techniques were used to design and develop the system. The block diagram of system. We used a LN-298 motor driver, Arduino Due,ESP-32, Digital Compass (gy-273), Different Sensors, Vacuum and Mop mechanism.
Floor cleaning robot is the solution to the stated problem. One-time investment in a reliable machine is much better than monthly expense of a maid. The robot features an intelligent navigation system that would map the room according to the dimensions. Sensors help the robot detect the obstacles the robot also features brushes spinning in opposite direction, dragging the dust inward. The dust is picked up by the vacuum and collected in the dust compartment. The water compartment is used to wet the mop. The mop cloth is replaceable and can be retracted inside the body to keep it from getting dusty when not in use.
