The Problem : Working with multiple MODBUS RS - 485 Devices in a network , Many PLC users face the issue of hogged - down processor resources when they use multiple instances of MODBUS Function Blocks to Read or Write values to Data Registers on the slave devices . This results in Time - Outs and Data Loss when devices stop responding
The Solution : Users often need a device that can combine the data from multiple devices and forward it as a single device so that it may be accessed by only one or a few instances of the MODBUS Function Blocks . The " device " would need to Read data from each of the multiple slave devices and re - map it to a new user defined data table that may be accessed by a PLC in one or a few instances . Similarly , it should also be able to do the reverse function of Write Data to multiple devices at the same time . Furthermore , the slave devices shall communicate on the RS - 485 interface and the " device " shall convert and send the data on MODBUS TCP / IP the interface .
Through this model we save the time of emlpoyees, reduce cost.
In this model we use HMI master, PLC, Analyzer of voltage and current, Salves, Ethernet shield, Arduino board,RS485 converters and so on.
Project ObjectivesThis project embarks on the following objectives;

It is proposed that a MODBUS Data Concentrator and Gateway, equipped with advace technology such as Human-Machine Interface (HMI) The hardware or software through which an operator interacts with a controller. An HMI can range from a physical control panel with buttons and indicator lights to an industrial PC with a color graphics display running dedicated HMI software.
A MODBUS Data Concentrator and Gateway, Programmable logic controller (PLC). It is a distinctive form of computer device designed for use in industrial control systems. It has a robust construction and unique functional features such as sequential control, ease of programming, timers and counters, easy-to-use hardware and reliable controlling capabilities.
The Arduino board is connected to a computer via USB, where it connects with the Arduino development environment (IDE). The user writes the Arduino code in the IDE, then uploads it to the microcontroller which executes the code, interacting with inputs and outputs such as sensors, motors, and lights.
Temperature Sensor, They are devices to measure temperature readings through electrical signals. The sensor is made up of two metals, which generate electrical voltage or resistance once it notices a change in temperature. Ethernet Shield,Ethernet Shield allows internet connectivity to Arduino board by using its Ethernet library. We can use this Ethernet library to write sketches (Arduino program written in IDE) that will help us to configure this shield to connect to internet. This shield is compatible with almost all versions of Arduino boards.
RS485 Ethernet, By converting RS485 data signals into Ethernet (TCP or UDP) packets, and vice versa, they enable reliable data transmission to other devices or network server applications. This is accomplished by encapsulating the RS485 data in Ethernet packets in a manner that best fits the type of data being transported.
Analyzer for current and voltage, The Keysight B2900A Series economic current-voltage analyzer is an entry-level current measurement solution that is available for a range of current-voltage characterizations. It has a feature resolution down to 10 fA. Combining multiple SMU units can give you up to eight channels.

Modbus, which appeared in the 1970s, is an unavoidable communication protocol for wired M2M for industry, construction and energy. Its simple architecture, easy integration and high reliability are ideal to efficiently control or take remote readings from automated equipment.
When we use MODBUS Data Concentrator and Gateway device use so mutliple reading shows at one place and we don't need many employees to control the system.
This devices also help industries Economically.
Technical Details of Final DeliverableThis model all over the world industries to help the employees and save the time and as well as this model directly effect the cost means if we use this mdel the cost is reduce and take the take readings easily. In this model we use PLC, HMI, Slaves, Arduino board, Analyzer for current and voltage, Temperatur sensor, Ethernet sheild, RS485 Converters and so on. In other words we says that thi model move toward the new technology. This is starting of new technology but if we appreciate and accept this model so in future may be we work on advance technology.
