It will provide a virtual learning environment where teachers and students can present course materials, involve and interact with other members of the virtual class, and work together in groups.
Project ObjectivesTo over come learning gap created in online education sytem where students cannot learn properly
It will provide a real class like environment and all members will have their avatars.
Metaverse will be integrated to make this work.
There will be use of NFTs as well as networking.
Project Implementation MethodTo implement this idea, the Oculus Quest and the Google Cardboard are required. First, oculus is integrated into the computer system. There is a need of a cable, Oculus and a good GPU. Then all other required plugins and XRs will be installed. Virtual environments are created with Blender. After setting up all environments in Unity, relevant scripts are added to add the functionality. The result of the project is continuously checked on Oculus. Then the project connects to Firebase to add networks and a database is also added.
Benefits of the Project- Enable professionals and students who live in remote areas, or with fewer financial resources to learn new skills and grow their knowledge.
- We have numerous online meeting application but they do not offer interaction, but with this the students will be able to interact like they do in the classroom.
- It will be a Cyber verse for education.
- Virtual reality makes travel possible without the limitations of time and permit restrictions and opportunity.
- Virtual learning has been proved to be more effective than normal means of learning because in enhances cognitive load.
- Engage students creatively by encouraging them to create their own three-dimensional experience to exhibit their imagination.
- For colleges and universities that are trying to grow and attract more students.
