Medstep app develops an innovative approach that provides in home, online checkup and blood donation facilities to the patients. The summary of our project is to focus on problem faced very much by our country. It is important because it solves the problem of almost every medical issue. We’ve two modules working on same algorithm. One is concerned with blood donation and second one is related to consultation of doctor to patient. As patients miss their appointments or neglect their minor health issues that may tend them to major problems in future. This app is a solution to this problem also it works efficiently for donors and recipients. In consultation there’s a very attention catching and revolutionizing point that it also targets on patients who suffer from diseases like Covid and dengue, basically high frequency diseases. If we talk about the doctor end then for fresher doctors looking for job, with very low income and trying to work from home it could be really beneficial for them to find patients. Not only for doctors but also compoders.

Project Objectives

  1. Provide in home Doctor Consultancy to patients.
  2. Ease the contact between Donor and Recipient.
  3. Provide in home delivery of medicine.
  4. Provide conveyance for reach.
  5. Clear and keep transparency maintained as the key feature for the services.

Project Implementation Method

We will implement our idea by providing in home and online consultation with doctors. Patient can easily appoint a doctor, we provide flexible timings and many departments to patients. Also, to cover lots of medical departments we give online consultation so for dietician and speech therapist type departments there no really need to physical consultation it can only be done by online consultation. To provide our app more efficiency we provide our customers flexibility in timings to appoint a doctor, e.g., need doctor now or can wait. So accordingly, doctor will be provided. Also there is another huge problem faced by COVID patients.

So, there must be a constant, reliable and automated solution for such a huge problem that almost all of us face in our country. COVID patients are not encouraged to visit hospital or clinics so we can provide them with compoder to help them with drips and injections. Not only COVID patients but also dengue or other high-frequency viral diseases in need to injections and drips we can send those compoder. In on-demand services, the focus is on eliminating the gap between order and fulfilment. Another problem faced by blood recipients is that in need they need to skim through their contacts that may cause them lot of time and as they are in hurry so they don’t find appropriate donor nearby. So providing them with a complete solution from finding an available donor nearby to sending them request or contact them with in app chat to WhatsApp. At last giving feedback. At present, there is not such kind of potential facility available. This idea also has been taken care before, but cannot implemented successfully due to lack of automation and complete tracking of the service providers. We are providing the whole solution from very first step of calling the service provider and till the last step. It facilitates both the service seeker and service provider in the whole process and enhance the transparency of the service

Benefits of the Project

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

Product Perspective

This system is based on 2 mobile applications and admin panel (website). First application is for doctor and second is for patient and donor. Admin will use website.

Doctor Interface

Doctor can sign up on the app, and add relevant data to his profile i.e. specialization, Experience, past jobs, and etc. related to his occupation on the app. Then they can publish their profile to the users of the app so they can view it. They can also chat with the patient using the app interface and accept and deny their appointment request

Donor Interface

User can sign up on the app, and register as donor by completing the donor profile and providing the relevant data to it i.e. blood type, location access, disease (which may result in their ineligibility of blood donation) and etc. an publish this data for user access so they can approach to them and chat according to their using the app interface.

Admin Interface

Admin side is used for the administration of user activity i.e. to manage and remove accounts in case of unexpected/unethical behavior, entertain queries and generate reports for viral disease in the areas.

System Interfaces

Our application, will interact with google maps for location services as it will show the data of doctors and donors based on their location to the user.

User Interfaces

The interface of the app is designed interactive and easy to use. To attract maximum audience, the interface is kept simple and easy to use. Anyone who is familiar with the basic app operation such as login, logout etc. can easily use the app.

Hardware Interfaces

The app can be used on any mobile or tab as long as it has active internet connection. It is recommended that the device has GPS Sensor to access all the features.

Software Interfaces

Software interface for the app require:

  1. Mobiles Operating System
  2. DBMS
  3. Android Studio, VS Code and etc. for development.
  4. Memory Interfaces

The MedStep mobile application require very basic primary and secondary mobile memory for running on a mobile OS. It also depends upon the number of features of the app that might be added in the future.
