Project Area of Specialization Internet of ThingsProject Summary- There is no such device in Pakistan which could measure multiple vitals altogether easily, people have to purchase different devices to measure each vital separately.
- Our goal is to design such single system through which people can easily measure their vitals such as SpO2, Temperature, BMI, and Heartbeat without expanding much on other devices.
- We are providing users with such end product, through which user can not only measure their vitals but can also see their real time measured vitals display on the mobile application and can also see history of previously measured vitals as logs.
The project will accomplish following things: -
- The system that can measure initial health status of patients like; SpO2, Temperature, BMI, and Heartbeat.
- All the measured vitals of the patient will be displayed real-time on the mobile application.
- All the measured vitals will be stored as history in the logs sections.
- The data will be stored in mobile application’s database.
User will first register on the mobile application , after getting registered the user will click on scan qr and will scan the qr placed on the machine. Once the qr will be successfully scanned the device will get activated for few minutes at which the user will stand and place his palm on the device. The device will measure all his vitals such as BMI, Heartbeat, Temperature and SPO2 and will send real time data on the mobile application which user will be able to see. The data will also get stored as history in logs section where user can see previously measured vitals according to the date.
Benefits of the Project- People while visiting hospitals or private clinics have to wait for long time in order to get doctor’s appointment and get their vitals checked using our device people will not have to wait in long queues they can measure their vitals on their own.
- Secondly for measuring vitals such as SpO2, Temperature, BMI, and Heartbeat there are different devices and each device individually measures only particular vital and purchasing all devices separately is quite expensive, so we are trying to provide single device solution which will save people's costs and time.
The final delivereable will be our integrated mobile application with hardware device. In hardware
- NodeMcu will be used for communicating with internet and database.
- Arduino Mega will be used for configuring of sensors.
- HC Sr04 Ultrasonic sensor will be used for calculating height in bmi.
- MAX30102 sensor will be used for calculating heartbeat and Spo2
- Load cell connected with Hx711 module will be used for calculating weight in BMI.
