Medlog is a Web and mobile(optional) based system in which Information should be managed in an efficient and cost wise fashion so that an institute's resources can be used efficiently. It’s a unified end to end system that delivers information across the hospital to support decision making for patient care, hospital administration and critical financial accounting, in a seamless flow. It is designed to enhance the quality and management from head to toe. To keep the data redundancy at its minimal we need to make the data centralized. Semi-automated or Manual system is used for the management and maintenance of confidential material in hospitals. Currently, the system requires several paper forms. The data is stored in the form of paper spreads throughout the hospital management infrastructure. Frequently, the required information is incomplete, or does not fulfil the standards due to the loss of data. Papers are usually lost during the process of transit between departments requiring an inclusive auditing process to guarantee that no significant information is misplaced. Sometime numerous copies of the same information exist in the hospital and can cause irregularities in data. An important part of the operation includes procurement, administration and apt recovery of all the significant information. This information, particularly contains Patient personal information and medical history, staff information, ward scheduling, staff scheduling and several lists of other talents. Our aim is to regulate data, uniting data, ensuring data integrity and error free so that the inconsistencies like Nashwa False injection case can be removed and no other human being suffers from the loss of love ones.

Project Objectives

The main objectives of the proposed Medlog system are
? To manage patient’s history that may guide doctors in an emergency case to avoid or use of certain medicine that is compatible with the health of the patient
? To maintain an efficient and cost friendly web-based application

Project Implementation Method

The issue of manual system for the management and maintenance of the significant information regarding to the stakeholders. The immense number of papers are required in order to keep the record. We need a big storage space and need to keep it safe. Maintaining the confidentiality of the record of all the stakeholders is quite important. Information usually consist of scheduling time of staff, staff and patient details and details of other talents as well.
When the informational data are on the paper, it can cause us certain problems like data lost due to paper lost, storage, issue and leakage of secret information, for instance a person’s specific information that he/she does not want to share because others can use it for their own benefits and etc. Sometime we lost the data because we lost the data due to negligence of management so this make the information incomplete hence it cannot meet the management standards. So, the remaining information is useless and we cannot keep the track of that specified information.
In this era, information is everything and the information is the most valuable thing. We need to find a way to manage it properly so that it stays fully confidential, efficient and cost effective. Because we need to use the resources that helps us to use the management system efficiently and make it error free. Our objective is to ensure the data integrity and to regulate the data and make the system error free by using some extent of hardware if necessary.
