Project Summary

This software will be used to collect data from patients and store it for later use. Patients will save time since they will not have to wait as long for an appointment as they do in hospitals. By utilizing predictive analysis, this system will also reduce patient wait times when they visit the hospital for consultation. It will also provide hospitals with a dashboard where they can get real-time updates on the hospital's position, including peak hours and other important information.

The proposed solution aims to address the above mentioned issues that are currently being faced by the health care industry. Patients can schedule and track their appointments. The hospitals will be able to provide a digitized service by using Interactive Telehealth for real time communication rather than a manual administrative task.

Project Objectives

  • Develop a solution which can help hospitals and patients in booking, managing, and tracking the appointments online. The solution is aimed at facilitating patients in terms of availability and time saving, for hospitals. It can help in reducing outpatient cancellations and in minimizing time and resources required for manual appointment management.
  • The solution can help in minimizing the waiting time for the patients as much as possible by allocating the time slots for the appointment using AI based predictive analysis. Moreover, patients will also be able to track the status of appointment in real time.
  • Hospitals can provide their patients’ online consultancy as well by using this proposed solution. Patients can get the consultation either onsite (at hospital) or online depending upon their preferences.

  • The proposed solution can unify the data related to appointments, doctors, and patients. It can create immersive dashboards and reports which results in helping hospitals to get actionable data insights that will facilitate in making decisions aimed at improving the business performance of the hospitals.
  • Integration of AI powered chatbot can entertain patients’ queries related to the hospital, appointments, and doctors. 

Project Implementation Method

We are using proprietary tool Dynamics 365.

Microsoft Dataverse is used as a database schema.

Canvas App is used for internal users i.e. Doctors.

Web View of Portal App is also provided using Liquid template language for external users.

Benefits of the Project

Healthcare sectors are facing various challenges which may result in unsatisfied patients which includes patients not showing up for appointments, social distancing violations, inefficient administrative manual tasks, patients’ overcrowding which results in significant waiting time periods, inefficient management etc. Therefore, there is a need for a digitized approach in providing a more personalized care to the patients.

The proposed solution aims to address the above mentioned issues that are currently being faced by the health care industry. Patients can schedule and track their appointments. The hospitals will be able to provide a digitized service by using Interactive Telehealth for real time communication rather than a manual administrative task. Availability.

Other benefits include reducing time and increasing security as it reduces overcrowding or large influx of patients in the hospitals.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

The technical details require license Dynamic tools for its working that depends on the number of users. The dynamic solution includes the packages of apps: Model Driven Apps, Canvas Apps and Portal Apps for different users in the environment. The license cost depends on the number of users using it. The internal applications of dynamics need to be integrated on the hardware system. The technical users should be availble to run those systems.
