We aim to design a system named as “Match Maker” that enables people to search and introduce themselves to new people with the goal of developing personal and long term relationships. Anyone can become a member by creating their profile and uploading their personal information. Once person becomes member they can manage their profile and search to browse people that met their requirements. 

Project Objectives

• To research previous applications developed on this domain.
• To find defects and limitation on those applications.
• People come to matrimonial sites in order to find a partner. The goal is to get to know each other, discover similarities, and learn about life expectations, goals, and dreams.

• The main objective of our Match-Maker system is to provide users with exceptional matchmaking experience.
• To provide individual platform where they could find their life partners.

Project Implementation Method

• The main idea behind the project is to design a system that collects member data. Use search criteria as specified by user to display profiles that matches with user criteria.

Benefits of the Project

• Provide a way of communication between members, if you like someone just strike your interest and continue with live chat with your suitor.
• Saves time and money as parents do not have to travel long distances to initiate marriage as they could easily see the profiles of individual that met their requirements.
• Anyone with internet connection can access the site.
• User does not have to browse all profiles; instead, this system provides filtered results as per the requirement of member.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

• The scope of the project is to develop a system for finding member that matches with their criteria.
• There are different parts in Match Maker like Searching, Registration, Adding members to favorite, communicate with members.
• User can begin communication by sending other partner interest notification. Chat is also enable if the user accepts his/her request.
• Notifications will be receive, if any member sent you interest, if there is any unread message from other members and user can see number of members online.
• Admin can see the statistics of whole website like total number of users, number of users online and has the right to block any account.
• Browsing behavior of the user over different profiles.
• Profile management.
• Security for profile authentication and verification to identify fraud or spam profiles
