Project Summary

Some things are simply irreplaceable.so, when an honest individual finds and reports a lost item, it can really make your day. Now a days, we have two unique characteristics: one, short-term memory, and the other, reduced environmental concentration, both of which contribute to concerns like misplacing our belongings. It can happen by accident such as People's vital documents tumble down throughout the voyage, someone has spotted someone's child, but he is unable to return it to his parents because he is unfamiliar with them. As a result, this website was designed to address these concerns. Now that We have access to this website, we'll be able to return belongings to their rightful owners and potentially even locate belongings.

Loss & found is a Web Application that will be used by the people who found some lost belongings and they wanted to return those things to the owner and will also be used by people who lost his belongings. The person who found that thing will create a post on website specifying the date, time and area where he found that thing. The owner can view the post and he can contact the person who found his belonging. the owner can either go retrieve his belongings on his own or use our low-cost door-to-door delivery service.

Project Objectives

The goal or objective of this project is to create a portal where people can find their misplaced belongings and to assist people because sometimes a specific item is very important to someone, and when they lose it, they become frustrated, so we are providing them with a portal where they can find their belongings. Additionally, making people's life easier.

Project Implementation Method

We will use the incremental waterfall model because In incremental model the whole requirement is divided into various builds. Multiple development cycles take place here, making the life cycle a “multi-waterfall” cycle. Cycles are divided up into smaller, more easily managed modules.

Benefits of the Project

Somethings are just not easily replaceable like a person lost his pet and he has a great affection. But he could not find and person who found unable to return because a he could not know him.some People's vital documents tumble down throughout the voyage, someone has spotted someone's child, but he is unable to return it to his parents because he is unfamiliar with them. As a result, this website was designed to address these concerns

d. Machine Learning (automatically categorizing posts according to the given pictures of items)

e. Point based reward system (redeemable points reward on returning items. Points will be applicable to certain hotels and marts)

f. Chat-Box (to communicate both parties and verification of original owner)

g. Web API of WhatsApp (in case someone enters his phone number as contact)
