Project Summary

Livestockry:

“Livestockry” is a web-based project. The purpose of this project is to make a  marketplace for everyone to contribute and get benefits. For Buying & Selling of the animals, poultry &pets, livestock &pets food services, farms machinery, dairy products, labor & veterinary jobs, and many services related to livestock farming in an unknown place on time. Users can also find animals or other services according to specific price ranges and locations using livestockry search filters., and much more related to livestock and farming. In this platform, you can see livestock blogs and expert opinions, and their experiences. We will make sure it's present on every social media platform.

What are the main problems?

In this modern era, we are still using traditional methods to buy and sell animals or to fulfill any other needs related to livestock. And this way of finding livestock services according to your interest or requirement is very difficult we also realize this issue in this pandemic situation of covid-19. Some other issues are also very serious like people don’t like to go in markets of livestock due to the bad environment and trust issues because you cannot contact to the person directly who is selling livestock services there is the third person between seller and buyer so this is also a problem that we can solve using an online system where seller and buyer can contact directly.

Possible Solution:

This project will provide the web-based solution which is useful for seller/buyers to sell or buy the animals, poultry &pets, livestock &pets food services, farms machinery, dairy products, labor & veterinary jobs and many services related to livestock farming in an unknown place on time. Users can also find animals or other services according to specific price ranges and locations using livestockry search filters.

This feature will enable our users to buy animals of their own choice from www.livestockry.com. And user can also find nearby butcher services.

Services and Jobs:

This feature will provide Veterinary services and labor jobs on dairy farms.

Farms and Rentals ( Farm machinery):

This feature will enable users to find dairy farms and machinery on rent or purchase.

Profile:

Users can see the profile of sellers or buyers according to previous sales and purchases and also check ratings.

Dairy Products:

Users can buy/sell dairy products like milk, cheese, and butter, etc.

Project Scope:

This project will facilitate the buyer as well as it will also provide an easy and efficient manner of earning for the seller. It will improve the user services of livestock farming. Livestockry acts as the third person by providing its user's seller/buyer details, seller/buyer address,  contact no, and seller/buyer rating according to their previous sales/purchases. It will not provide any online payment option for buying due to some serious issues like refunds and security etc.

We select Agile methodology for our project development because agile is a methodology whereas SDLC is a process used in the area of project management to carry out the process of Software Development Life Cycle.

Agile Software Development is an approach towards the software development lifecycle process where the requirements and solutions of the customer will be fulfilled by the means of collaborative work of the multiple cross-functional teams and the end-users or the customers or the clients.

It helps in the continual project deliverables, continual project improvements, instant changes, and rapid development.

Livestockry Deliverables:

Signup:

We will provide a guest user experience without signup/sign in user will be able to see ads but signup will be required while performing any functionalities.

 Image/Video Upload:

Users can upload images and videos during posting an ad on a website and image uploading is a mandatory feature.

Calendar and Date:

We will provide a calendar from where users can choose dates for ad posting default/optional and expiry dates can also be selected.

Qurbani:

This feature will enable our users to buy animals of their own choice from www.livestockry.com. And user can also find nearby butcher services.

Selling:

The first user can register if he wants to sell any animal or item related to livestock. After registration, he can select the category and post the Ad in the required category after filling in the essential information. (Address, Contact No, etc )

Buying:

The first user can register if he wants to Buy any animal or item related to livestock. After registration, he can contact the seller.

Ad Posting:

User registration is compulsory for posting any Selling/Buying Ad on the website. He can give the basic information about the product and write Address, Contact No, (Price is optional) and choose the Ad type.

Location and Google map:

We will provide a list of all districts and cities in Pakistan users can select their location from that list. If location is not found in the list user can also choose a location using Google Maps.

Services and Jobs:

If Users want any service regarding Veterinary Doctor/Farm Rental it is mandatory to register on the website.

User Advanced Profile:

User can create/edit profile on the website after a successful registration. According to their previous history of the Seller/Buyer actions. Users can see the profile of sellers or buyers according to previous sales and purchases and also check ratings.

Cookies:

We can use cookies to collect the previous data of the users. So they visiting for next time they can see the Ad related to their interest. Based on the previous search history.
