Different domains, multiple fields, the dimension of this online world is enormous. We are talking about bloggers, content writers, engineers, doctors and listing experts. In all of these professions, excellent communication whether it be verbal or written is the prime factor of success. Whether you are writing a blog or you are preparing a professional report, grammatical errors can never be entertained. So, keeping in mind these problems, we are coming up with a "universal" solution named as 'LingMaster'.

LingMaster is a one window solution as it provides four features under a single umbrella.

Every single feature is designed and configured in order to provide a solution to the user’s problem. “Generate Summary” is a feature which would help the user to extract information from a lengthy document. “Check Grammar And Spelling Error” would eliminate all the spelling and grammatical errors from the document and would also suggest the appropriate alternative. “Paraphrase Sentences” would allow the user to shape the document in such a way that the similarity index would be minimized but the meaning would remain the same. What if the user needs to extract some text from a set of pictures? Our application provides “Image To Text Converter” which solves the users problem of extracting text from image.

Project Objectives

The major problem which is found by the people of corporate, academic and freelancing world is that they are in need of submitting their professional and significant documents, requirements of those documents are high level literature and grammar to prove themselves in their particular occupation.  Another problem which is usually seen is that the software present to resolve these problems are usually “paid”. Hence making a barrier for everyone to avail it.

Project Implementation Method

To address the raised problem, we proposed an idea for making a desktop application that will contain four mains:

1. “Generate Summary” which will convert long text documents into an extractive summary.
2. “Check Grammar and Spelling Error” which will proofread the documents written in English Language.
3. “Convert Image to Text” that will extract out the text written in an image.
4. “Paraphrase Sentence” which will rephrase a sentence to avoid plagiarism.

Benefits of the Project

In these years of technology, the techniques of AI have provided many solutions to these issues, using those techniques many software’s have been developed to resolve these issues globally but none of them provided all solutions in one software, that’s why it’s quite costly to purchase all this software individually which are available but at a high price to pay.

That’s why we are making a software which will provide all these features on one platform and that too on very cheap cost.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

The main scope of our project is to implement such tool that will use techniques of Artificial Intelligence in the convention of image to text through OCR (Optical Character Recognition). Our main focus is to provide enhanced and efficient software tool for the users to perform document processing, document image analysis, document processing by reading and recognizing the characters in research, academic, business and governmental organizations that are having large pool of documented, scanned images. Irrespective of quality and type of character in documents, the software will recognize them, search them and will process them accordingly.

To implement the features i.e., “CHECK GRAMMAR AND SPELLING ERROR”, “GENERATE SUMMARY”, “CONVERT IMAGE TO TEXT”, “PARAPHRASE SENTENCE” and advancement in other existing tools of the same domain is also our project scope but our main endeavor is to train a model for “Convert image to text” feature.
