Elections allow the populace to choose their representatives and express their preferences for how they will be governed. Naturally, the integrity of the election process is fundamental to the integrity of democracy itself. The election system must be sufficiently robust to withstand a variety of fraudulent behavior s and must be sufficiently transparent and comprehensible that voters and candidates can accept the results of an election.
Unsurprisingly, history is littered with examples of elections being manipulated in order to influence their outcome. The design of good voting system, whether electronic voting system. In this system the anonymity of a voter will not have any chance to cast the illegal votes. Because in this computerized system only one time can cast a vote a single person.
Electronic voting system is a computerized system technique. In this system people who have citizenship of Pakistan and whose age is above 18 years of age and any sex can give his/her vote computerized just with the finger print.
Project Objectives
- To develop an electronic voting system that can be used during the election time.
- To come up with a system documentation.
- To establish the metrics for measuring and evaluating usability.
- To establish the principles that support usability.
Project Implementation Method
Electronic vote system will consists on three phases.
It will subdivided on two admin sides and one for user side.
The first phase will consists on vote register list .
The second will have candidates list.
And the third last side will for user in which vote will be cast with finger print .
This system provide a time to cast a vote at the given time ,if when time will complete then the system will automatically turned off.
Benefits of the Project
Now we are going to develop an electronic voting system. And this system will very easy for all people like uneducated and old people to use. In electronic system will only one time can cast a vote by one person at a time. It will reduce waste of time to cast or count the vote. It can operate only by one or two persons. The result not be delayed only take some minuets.
