Now and then, everyone needs a lawyer in any legal matters, having a good lawyer increases your chance to win that case, but how do you find out that a lawyer is good at what he/she does? There is no platform that provides you with such information. Many people, at some point, have to find a lawyer for a case or some legal documents but are exasperated to do so because of the complexity involved in the process. Because of the less information available about a lawyer, finding one that can help you in a specific case is difficult. If a lawyer works for someone does not mean that it can work for you because of multiple factors e.g. their fee, specialty, etc. There is no platform right now that can give an average person all the information required to choose a lawyer in one place. This application will help in all the above matters. Moreover, this application provides a platform for users as well as lawyers. Any lawyer can get registered on this platform. Users can search for any lawyer based on his/her needs.

Project Objectives

The main objective of 'Lawgical Network' is to facilitate average or working people who want to get a lawyer with no effort and less time wasted. This application will help the user to find a good lawyer that they deem perfect for the case. Moreover, users can search about lawyer specialties, previous case history and find reviews from his/her other clients. This application not only eases the users but also provides a tool for all lawyers to manage their cases, clients, schedule, etc. in one place. This is an all-in-one tool to facilitate its users in all sorts of situations which has never been possible before. The main goal of 'Lawgical Network' is to provide ease to a user. The user will be able to find his/her desired lawyer in just a few clicks and will be able to book an appointment with him/her.

Project Implementation Method

We created an architecture diagram of the system to get a basic understanding of how the system will going to work, then we created some prototypes of a system for the web page and how it should look considering all the aspects of HCI, then we created prototypes of a mobile app and also created activity diagram we then selected the technology stack we will be using. We first created a website using PHP, HTML, javascript, and css. We also created system diagrams i.e. Use cases, Sequence diagrams, etc. Then we created a mobile app using flutter and also created APIs to work with the app and website. We then test the app and website rigorously to find bugs. We then deployed the app and website.

Benefits of the Project

At some point many people need a lawyer in any legal matter, having a good lawyer increases your chance to win that case, but how do you find out that a lawyer is good at what he/she does? There is no platform that provides you with such information. You spend more time and effort in finding a good lawyer than in the actual case. There is no way of knowing when a lawyer will be available in their chambers or is even taking cases anymore. We are unaware of the reputation, his/her case history, and their specialties. Moreover, imagine you need to sign an agreement with anyone and for that, you must go to court, it can easily take your whole day or two. This whole experience becomes hectic real soon.

'Lawgical Network' is solving all the problems described above. Users will be able to browse through the profiles of multiple lawyers, he/she will be able to search for lawyers according to desired category/specialty. After finding a lawyer user will be able to make an appointment straight away, the appointment can be made in the form of a video call or physical meeting depending upon the need of the user.

Lawgical Network not only provides benefits to the user but a Lawyer will also be benefited through this platform. All of his/her workflow, cases, appointments, previous cases, hearing dates will be manageable through 'Lawgical Network'.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

The final deliverables are a mobile app built using flutter and dart and connected with a website using APIs created in PHP. The website itself is created in PHP, HTML, javascript, and CSS. The application also has a video calling feature to ensure communication between the lawyer and his/her clients. We also going to submit project documentation.
