Project Area of Specialization Internet of ThingsProject SummaryJarvis Home is a hardware-software based home automation system. It will enable users to remote control the electrical appliances in home from anywhere around the globe, with the help of a mobile application. The mobile application will have speech recognition system which enables the user to control the appliances using voice commands.
Project Objectives- The main purpose of the project is to monitor and control energy consumption.
- Enabling user to control electricity from literally anywhere with internet connection.
- A system that can be integrated into any new or existing home electrical system.
We are using online database Firebase, because it has the great ability to listen to real time changes and reflect those changes to every device connected to that database.

A mobile application will send signal to the online Firebase database through internet, which will be received by the Raspberry Pi4 circuitry in the house connected to the same online database. On receiving the signal the Pi4 will recognize the command and perform the action accordingly.
The mobile application will also show the details and statuses about all the connected electrical home appliances in realtime.
Benefits of the ProjectA new research suggests that 25% of electricity is wasted by households, a total of 17% of energy currently being used in Pakistan can be saved through energy conservation and efficiency measures.
Jarvis home can reduce the unnecessary energy consumption by monitoring and controlling it. It can be integrated in any home electrical system with reasonable cost.
Technical Details of Final DeliverableFinal deliverable consists of a mobile application for remote control, and Pi4 with integrated circuit with relay ports connected home appliances.
The mobile app will have following features:
- Manual control mode
- Speech Recognition mode (with help of A.I agent which will receive voice command and perform actions accordingly with a voice reply.)
- Status of all the connected home appliances
- Summary of usage
- Energy measurements
- Notification reminders
