It will give them the ability to get a much better idea of what we do, and what we are able to offer. User can visit entire campus at home he does not has to come and take a look of campus
We can provide a platform for both students and guests. Guests can visit the university and will be provided pictorial suggestions to visit. Whereas students will be provided with the feature of 360 view as well as see their schedule and find routes for their classes or other locations, students will also get the notifications for the upcoming events
Motivation and Need:
Iqra University EDC campus is large building which have 11th floor, roof, gymnasium, swimming pool and lot of other area so when person who is new need to go same place it can be quite difficult for them to find that place and if a person need to take tour of entire university that can take lot of affect and person get tired half way that’s why we need are developing an application so a person can take tour of university virtually and those students who want to some specific room and couldn’t find this application can find it for them with direction.
Virtual tour is helpful for students who wants to take admission in the university and also for the students who have newly joined and wants to explore the university to see the insides before they physically appear. It can also help students find their required locations such as classes, admission office and any particular place. Virtual tour is also helpful for advertisement purpose.
- Save money and time: Virtual tours are dynamic, interactive, and capable of retaining the attention of people within seconds.
- Greater reach: Using a virtual tour to advertise the university can help to get a better reach.
- Visual information: When you use a virtual tour, you can present all types of information. These presentations carry high visual appeal and convey a complete idea about the finished project.
Students just have to login with their university’s id or if they are not a student of IU they can simply login as Guests. Following are the features user will be facilitated by our Application:
- Sign up through university’s ID and password.
- 360 view in 3d form.
- Find destinations.
- Upcoming events Alerts
- Pictorial suggestions to view destinations.
- Direct Destination / Step by Step.
- Class schedules.
- The objective is to develop an interface where students can easily visit and search any location.
- Another objective is to design the structure of university so that user can easily view the university without going there physically.
- Objective of building this app is to provide complete view of IU at home or anywhere in the world by using a device like their mobile phones. Due to corona people are facing many problems to go out side and visit a place so for such condition new comers would need a thing like our app.
- The other aim behind this idea is when new comers would university to take their classes they would need a guide to search their classes or labs, that is for this they can use a app like virtual tour for guidance.
For this project we will use methodology of agile
Planning:First we plan how we will gather data? how we will start our work? who will do what? What kind of data we need for this project, then we will gather all the data and stuff which fulfill all requirement according to what we have planned for project.
Desiging: After gathering all data we will make a basic structure of our project, a basic model which would depict how our project will be?
Development: After Designing we will start our development phase and do all development work according to our design. Coding, 3d designs making, mapping and etc. stuff.
Test: after development we will test each and every part of our work to check how it’s works.
Evaluate: in the end we make changes if we need to change and deliver our final product.

Implementation:
- Planning: The first phase involves understanding what need to be design and what is its function, purpose etc. Here, the specifications of the input and output or the final product are studied and marked.
- Design: The requirement specifications from first phase are studied in this phase and system design is prepared. System Design helps in specifying hardware and system requirements and also helps in defining overall system architecture. The software code to be written in the next stage is created now.
- Implementation: With inputs from system design, the system is first developed in small programs called units, which are integrated in the next phase.
- Testing: All the units developed in the implementation phase are integrated into a system after testing of each unit. The software designed, needs to go through constant software testing to find out if there are any flaw or errors. Testing is done so that the client does not face any problem during the installation of the software. Deployment of System: Once the functional and non-functional testing is done, the product is deployed in the customer environment or released into the market.
- Evaluate: This step occurs after installation, and involves making modifications to the system or an individual component to alter attributes or improve performance. These modifications arise either due to change requests initiated by the customer, or defects uncovered during live use of the system. Client is provided with regular maintenance and support for the developed software.

This application is beneficial to those people who want to visit university. It will help them to take tour of university just using their mobile phone.
- Student who just enrolled to university and want to find their class. This application will show them way to their class
- A student who to find faculty room can do it just by using name.
- Student can save their time.
- They will not be lost in places and will not need anyone to guide them about ways.
Our Virtual Tour app will be implemented on Android. So the output of the project will be delivered through an android application to the user. The application will be deployed on the Google Playstore. So user can download it from there also user can download an APK file from google and use the services of indoor navigation. The application will provide better usability for the user to use the output effectively.
