A recent study on child abusement in Pakistan shows that the percentage of child abusement is about 7 % per day. As per the survey conducted by the authors of [1], out of 1304 children, 575 and 729 boys and girls are abuses, respectively. Children are the backbone of one's nation, they cannot complain about abusements which they face in their daily life to their parents. They can’t even realize what actually happens to them at their age. In addition, it is very difficult for their parents to identify their children are being abused if the future of children was affected, it would impact the entire growth of that nation. Due to the abusement, the emotional and mental stability of the children gets affected and consequently their career and future ruins. The aforementioned problem can be overcome by developing a system that can help to track and monitor the children and to keep aware the parents on time. This project mainly focused on the solution to the problem which will help the parents to track and monitor their children on a daily basis. In such a situation, an IoT Based Smart System for Monitoring, tracking child, can help to save the loss of life. So, it is necessary to develop a system for tracking and monitoring and timely alert of the parents. In the proposed approach we will combine the Internet of Things (IoT) and sensors to design an IoT-based system (framework) for Tracking and monitoring children and the severity of emergency level. In case of emergency, the message will be sent to a server, where the central server will then find out the location of the child and after tracking the basic information will be communicated to the parents. The proposed system will be utilized to track, monitor, and for the safety of the children.
An open-source Arduino Software (IDE) is used in the design and implementation of the proposed work. The prototype of the prosed work will be made by connecting the various types of modules and sensors. The design steps of the proposed work are as follows:
The proposed work mainly focuses on the safety, tracking, and monitoring of children. It also focuses on how to monitor the health condition of the children in danger. Moreover, the proposed design will timely alert the parents with the exact location, which can be further utilized as legal evidence of a crime.
