Wireless healthcare is playing a major role with the upcoming rate of senior citizens, these technologies are commercially available for physical and personal health care, fitness, and activity awareness. In addition to that researcher have also claimed that applications of such technologies are also used in remote health care for long-term data and to access the medical data of patients. Currently, wireless technology is playing a major role in sustaining various requirements The core objective of this project is the design and implementation of a wise patient health tracking system that uses Sensors to track patients and uses the internet to tell the doctor.

IoT (Internet of things) has become a motivating topic within the field of technological research. it's interconnecting of devices with one another over the web. We naturally think about the (IoT) Internet of things in terms of self-directed cars and smart homes, but a number of the most effective applications of IoT technology are in intensely practical fields. One such example is the health care monitoring system. It may be used to promote basic medical care within the hospital environment by improving the standard of care and patient safety. The geographical area of Pakistan is lacking behind the right patient monitoring system. So, the most objectives are remote health monitoring and supervision awareness by distributing data in an authenticated manner. The main object of this project is to develop a system that will give contactless body temperature, heart rate, and blood oxygen using MAX30100, Electrocardiograph (ECG), volatile organic compounds present in the air, smoke in the room, and live surveillance by using the esp32 cam module. All the sensors are interfaced with ESP32 microcontrollers. The controller ESP32 is employed for Wireless data transmission by using the IoT technique. By using the BLYNK IoT platform we can visualize the data on a Blynk web dashboard as well as on a mobile application and controlling of electric appliances will be done with Augmented Reality We are making a portable room in which all these facilities will be available if we have an area where hospital is not present, we can provide this portable room there.

Project Objectives

  • Design of Omni directional portable room.
  • Heart rate monitoring and temperature will be demonstrated as real time monitoring
  • Blood Oxygen and ECG (Electro Cardio Graph) will be demonstrated as real time monitoring.
  • In room Air quality and smoke detection setup will design.
  • In room real time surveillance will be demonstrated.
  • The data of ECG (Electro Cardio Graph), blood Oxygen ,Air Quality, Smoke Detection and all sensors will be uploaded on the blink 2.0 server.
  • CJMCU-811 is reported as an air quality sensor.
  • MLX90614 is reported as temperature sensor.
  • MQ2 sensor will be used to detect the smoke.
  • AD8232 will be used for ECG (Electrocardiograph).
  •  MAX30100 will detect the Heart beat and Blood oxygen.

Project Implementation Method

The system is built with a mix of hardware components. During the implementation phase, all of the hardware components are assembled. The suggested developed system is depicted in Fig. 1. All of the sensors are physically attached to the ESP32 through physical pins. Because it includes a Wi-Fi module, the ESP32 is employed as a processing device. The VCC and GND pins of all sensors are linked to the VCC and GND pins of the ESP32. In the instance of the heart beat sensor, the signal pin is linked to the ESP32's physical pin. The data pin of the MLX90614 is mapped to a microcontroller physical pin (ESP32). This is the situation with one particular patient. The data pin of the Cjmcu-811 is connected to the Physical pin of the ESP32 for monitoring room conditions.

In the implementation, CJMCU-811 is only considered for room conditions measurement. The digital out pin of MQ-2 are connected with Physical pin of  ESP32, respectively, and AD8232 is used for Electrocardiography to monitor patient ECG connected with ESP32 microcontroller physical pin.

Reporting and monitoring in real time

Remote health monitoring via linked devices has the potential to save lives in the case of a medical emergency such as heart failure, diabetes, asthma attacks, and so on. With real-time health monitoring in place via a smart medical device connected to a smartphone app, connected medical devices may gather medical and other needed health data and utilize the smartphone's data connection to communicate collected information to a physician or to a cloud platform.

Affordability and end-to-end connection

With the support of a healthcare mobility solution and other innovative IoT technologies, as well as next-generation healthcare facilities, IoT may automate patient care workflow.

IoT in healthcare offers interoperability, artificial intelligence machine-to-machine connection, information sharing, and data migration, all of which contribute to the effectiveness of healthcare service delivery.

Data collection and analysis

The vast volume of data that a healthcare device delivers in a very short period of time due to their real-time application is difficult to store and manage if cloud connectivity is unavailable.

Alerts and tracking

In chronic conditions, timely warning is crucial. Medical IoT devices collect vital indicators of any ailment and transmit that data to clinicians for real-time surveillance, while mobile applications and smart sensors notify individuals about key portions.
