The smart doorbell system based on raspberry pi 4 enables smart communication between guest, a person standing on the door, with the person sitting in the home. The system uses internet-of-things (IoT) technology to connect all parts of system together and provide seamless interface to users (guest and owner). The proposed system, a low cost and low power consumption unit with enhanced security features, acts as security gateway for the guests entering the house. The system is installed with recognition model that recognizes people by learning on their distinct facial features. Moreover, the system is equipped modern tools that facilitate the guest to make video call with owner and seek owner permission prior to entering in the house.
