To secure and guard our house in our absence, we propose the IOT based Anti-theft Flooring System using Raspberry Pi. Security and safety have always become a basic necessity for the urban population. This system is a secure flooring tile connected with IOT when we go out of house, the system is to be turned on, then whoever comes inside the house it passes the information over IOT.
This anti-theft system will be further modified by the addition of image processing and voice recognition. The voice or audio recording and live image will be used as a proof to alert the nearest security system to monitor the actions and take an action accordingly before the individual takes time to report it to them. We will further add in night vision cameras for surveillance at night.
Further innovation in this system will also include a smart door lock system which uses both voice recognition and image processing to secure the house doors from not letting the thief’s enter as a result from the mismatched database it already consists and alarming the owners with a text message and buzzer.
The implementation will include a miniature model of house made of acrylic with the implemented circuits of electronic equipments mounted for the security system.
The goal is to develop a security and safety system to overcome the basic necessity of surveillance and guard for the urbanization and increased rate of crimes. The systems aim to provide a 24 hrs monitoring of homes, offices etc and raid by the security authorities to prevent from harms and thefts.
The final deliverable will consist of a complete automated home surveillance and security system. It will notify the relative person and security department via text and buzzer.
