Project Summary

Body health monitoring is especially important to us to make sure our health is in excellent condition.

These days we have an increased number of heart diseases including increased risk of heart attacks. Our proposed system users’ sensors that allow to detect heart rate of a person using heartbeat sensing even if the person is at home. The sensor is then interfaced to a microcontroller that allows checking heart rate readings and transmitting them over internet. The user may set the high as well as low levels of heartbeat limit.

 After setting these limits, the system starts monitoring and as soon as patient heartbeat goes above a certain limit, the system sends an alert to the controller which then transmits this over the internet and alerts the doctors as well as concerned users. Also, the system alerts for lower heartbeats. Whenever the user logs on for monitoring, the system also displays the live heart rate of the patient. Thus, concerned ones may monitor heart rate as well get an alert of heart attack to the patient immediately from anywhere and the person can be saved on tim

Project Objectives

Iot heart attack and heart rate monitoring – A Personal, System will be a new application intended for use on mobile systems which run on the Android OS and iOS. It is estimated that over twenty million deaths all over the world occur due to cardiovascular disorder. Several people are also disabled by cardiovascular disease.

The fatal consequence occurs due to delay in providing medical assistance. The severity increases due to deployment of resources for early detection and treatment. In this system, the analog sensors measure the heart rate. An analog to digital converter converts the sensed analog data into corresponding digital data. The heart of patients suffering from fatal heart failures is monitored continuously. The control system accepts and processes the monitored signal. The processed signal is then fed into alert system as a precaution or detection of heart failure to the patient.

Project Implementation Method

In the implementation of this project, we will use Incremental Process Model. It is amazingly simple to understand and use. Incremental development is done in steps from analysis design, implementation, testing/verification, maintenance. Benefits of the Project

The reason for building an application of this sort is to facilitate users to check and monitor hisher heart rate even if the person is at home. The heart of patients suffering from fatal heart failures is monitored continuously.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

The language/technology selected for the project is as follows.

Dart and Kotlin language with Flutter Framework

Dart used for cross platform code and Kotlin used for writing native code. Native code is needed when flutter does not support something which available or built only by using native code in the application development.
