Project Area of Specialization Internet of ThingsProject SummaryThis project is all about the protection of a distribution transformer under overload conditions. Over voltage, over current and high temperature can be prevented with the help of this device. We can monitor its parameters(voltage, current and temperature) through our android application. The CT, PT and temperature sensor in our project always check the parameters of each of the phase of distribution transformer and send their results to the controller. In case of any fault in each phase of the transformer, the controller immediately trip the electromagnetic contactor(which is interfaced with each of the phase). In this way we can prevented our transformer under harmful conditions. Being an IOT based controller also send all the updates on the cloud through wi-fi module so we can access it though our android application.
