In the world of Internet of Things (IOT) when we have all the technologies to revolutionize our life, The IoT was initially most interesting to business and manufacturing, where its application is sometimes known as machine-to-machine (M2M), but the emphasis is now on filling our homes and offices with smart devices, transforming it into something that's relevant to almost everyone. It's a great idea to develop a system which can be controlled and monitored from anywhere. An IOT based system which is used for detection of any unknown person in your specific private range and inform the owner through mode of communication. It helps to up-to- date the real time condition about that person’s place anywhere in the world. This project is not only personal use, it will also use for commercially like as organization owner can use it as a security camera when he is not at his place. It concluded that, this system build with low cost through simple raspberry pi and that should be used for CCTV system for home by getting update on real time. 

Project Objectives

The Internet of Things, or IoT, refers to the billions of physical devices around the world that are now connected to the internet, collecting and sharing data. The project is based on internet of things by using Raspberry Pi. Also this system can be installed at the main door of your home or office, you can monitor it from anywhere in the world via email over internet. This system will detect the presence of Intruder and quickly alert the user by sending him alert mail. This mail will also contain the Picture of the Intruder, captured by Pi camera. Raspberry Pi is used to control the whole system. Also this system is less cost effective and user friendly which make it more popular among the expensive CCTV cameras that can’t able to update the real time condition through internet. 

Project Implementation Method

This system consists of raspberry pi microprocessor that has been operating over the Raspbian operating system. Apart from this many other OS used for operating this microprocessor. That’s help to perform the all possible functionality that has been programmed by the programmer. The Raspbian Operating system integrate the all apart of system within interlinked connection in form of product. The system only requires the power supply and internet connection for its processing. This is very useful system for securing your private places, homes and offices in your absence. This will operate according to built-in programmed functionalities. It needs the smart phone or laptop

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

The structure of this product is a combination different of hardware components, which includes microprocessor Pi 3 B, Pi Sensor, Pi Camera and some other required components used for developing this system in form of single product. This system does not require the any time of constraints for its processing, it requires the power supply that helps to perform its task 24/7. The images which has been taken of intruder while he/she wants to enter in any person private place, this system detects them, took the pictures of intruder on the spot and send to the owner. This process store the images in two ways, firstly the images saved in external storage of raspberry Pi operating system, secondly the images sent over the internet through Gmail that will save on google drive. The system interfaces would be in form of single product

This system will design in form of product, the backend functionality dynamically programmed to it via raspberry Pi OS.
