To keep it conserved , there is a need of a system understandable by common man, easy to handle , easily applicable and cost effective.In order to overcome this,In our project we want to devise such an intelligent energy management system in which energy will be conserved, action of utilization will be undercontrolled, features smartness will be priority , monitoring of heavy loads and appliances will be done via IoT,Scheduling of loads over main grid and over smart grid during peak hours will also be done via IoT,Scheduling of loads will help in reducing electricity bills and VAR optimization at power grids.Another important thing in our project is Battery management that will be used with renewable enrgy source with smart grid.Why We Need To Do This? We need this first of all to share and reduce power grid collective load demand, to reduce the high rates of watts consumed over population, to monitor our loads and understanding demand and load .Overall , whole proposed idea will help in price reduction, load scheduling and monitoring, battery management.All this will be done via IoT.
Project ObjectivesThe main objectives of our FYP are:
- Design of a micro grid using renewable sources
- Devise an algorithm for the smart control of the micro grid
- Scheduling of loads using smart grid
- Monitoring and control of appliances load through smart grid control
- Integrating the smart control using IOT.

uKeeping in view the energy crisis, depleting resources of energy and increase inflation, there is a need to develop a strategy to manage the energy utilization in our country.
u The goal of the project is to design and devise a smart micro grid that will be equipped with a smart strategy to control the usage of energy through scheduling, net metering and load management. The smart grid will be controllable through IOT.

In the face of an energy crisis, our country Pakistan is slowly awakening to the issue of energy conservation.” Crisis” seems to be the buzzword of the 21st century. The industrial revolution of the 18th century offered mankind both luxuries and a handful of the crisis of different resources. Since then, we have been busy indulging in comfort with new emerging technologies, ignoring the unbearable energy problems, that now become difficult to solve. First, the only way to combat the energy problem is by conservation of energy.
After this, the second problem is that there should be control over the handling, management, and use of the energy produced. There should be a practically implemented system that is controllable, manageable, and usable by a common man. A system through which handsome efficiency can be achieved. A system through which tariff can be controlled. A system that guaranteed progress and saves the future.
In many of the modern-day researches, researchers have worked towards smartness of features and energy conservation Most of them concentrate on energy utilization, demand-side management, electricity bill reduction, systems for industries. There is very less contribution towards smart grids and controlling of energy management using IoT, mobile aps and desktop applications.
