Home automation has become a necessety of today’s society  not just in developed countries but as well as in developing countries. If you look closely it’s the developing countries that really need home automation systems because there are lot of electricity problem in developing countries. So, home automation systems have become quite essential in todays world. What we are offering or say trying to achieve is a complete home automation system in which every essential task is included with the likes of normally turning on and turning off home appliances plus offering a kitchen automation system in which  things like gas detection happens where if you sometimes forgot to turn off the stove the gas can spread n your whole kitchen causing severe damage so it will prevent this turning on the buzzer alarm alerting the user. Also if there is tpoo much humidity so the exhaust fan can turn on itself.

Project Objectives

The objectives of our project are to initialize the home automation system in Pakistan with gas detection system so we can save lives

1.Development of a hardware and software model using Proteus and Rasberry Pi

2.To develop a hardware and software model for data collection which will be conducted by sensors.

3.To set an online platform by a webpage where we have all controls.

This objective will provide a proper control system that is in your hand where you can easily can control all the appliances.

Project Implementation Method

The project implementation method of this project is divided into steps so that it can be easy for us to follow.The steps are mentioned below.

1.Development of Smart home: we can achieve smart home appliances system by using raberry pi and a webpage connected through wifi.

2.Development of Smart kitchen: we can achieve smart kitchen by using MQ2 Gas sensor and LM35 Temperature sensor and buzzer using a Rasberry Pi.

3.Development of Smart Irrigation system: we can achieve smart irrigation system by using temperature sensor, soil moisture sensor, wifi, relay and water motor connected through raspberry pi.
