The police management system is an application that allows all the paper work that are done in the police station to be stored in one single system with great ease. It can help in handling the records easier. Sometimes if there is a need for some information of a particular criminal then you need to search in huge heap of files where that information is stored in those files. So that will involve in wastage of time and also effort. So to overcome these problems, the police management system can be useful. This will reduce a lot of pen paper work that is involved.

We will make an application related to all information about police organization.

The intelligent police management application can help in storing the records related to the criminals, cases, complaint record, case history and so on. This can allow a person to enter or delete the records if necessary. All these records can be maintained in a single database. Security is maintained so as to ensure that only the authorized users will have access to the system. This application will be one of the useful projects that the police can rely on. This application can help in getting the information of the criminals of many years back. It can also help in minimizing most of the work of the police. Our intelligent system would support police to prevent pandemic situation like Covid-19.

Project Objectives

The main objectives of this application are as follows:

1.criminal records: this application can contain the details related to the criminals in the particular case.

2. prisoner record: the detail of the prisoner   and his case related details can be stored in the database

3. Support police to identify and prevent COVID-19

.

 

 

3. complaint registration: the detail of the complaint that are registered can also be stored through this application

4. police database management: the details of the police in the particular police station can be maintained through this application

Project Implementation Method

The computer based police investigation system using application is developed as online information and eliminates the inadequacies in the security of records within the police command. Tools used in the implementation are :

Php – (Personal Home Page_ now known as hypertext processor. A dynamic server side scripting language. PHP code is interpreted (not complied by a server with a PHP processor module, which generates the resulting web page. PHP commands can be embedded directly into an HTML source document rather than calling an external file to process data. It has also been evolved to include a command-line interface capability and used in standalone graphical application.

Java Script – Dynamic client side scripting language that response to users’ events. JavaScript is very loosely based in Java, an object-oriented programme language popularized for use on Web by way of embedded applets. Although JavaScript has a similar syntax and programming methodology, it is not a “light” version of Java. Instead, JavaScript is its own dynamic language, finding its home in web browsers around the world and enabling enhanced interaction on web site and web applications alike.

MySQL- MySQL works on many system platforms, including AIX, BSDi, FreeBSD, HP-UX, eComStation, i5/OS, IRX, Linux, OS X, Microsoft Windows, NetBSD Novell, NetWare, OpenBSD, OpenSolris, OS/2 Warp, QNX, Solaris, Symbian, SunOS, SCO OpenServer, SCO UnixWare, Sanos and Try64. A port of MySQL to Open VMS also exists.

HTML – (Hypertext Markup Language is the main markup language) for layout and displaying information that can be displayed on the web. HTML is written in the form of HTML elements consisting of tags enclosed in angle brackets (like ), within the web page content.

 Css – (Cascading Style Sheets) for describing looks and formatting documents. CSS is designed primarily to enable the separation of documents content from document presentation, including elements such as the layout, color and fonts.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

The aim of this system is to develop a system of improved facilities. the system provide  proper security and reduce manually done work. The intelligent police management system applies to police station all across the city and specifically looks into the subjects crime prevention, detection, conviction of criminals depending on a highly responsive backbone of information management. The efficiency of police and the effectives with which it tackles crime depend on what quality of information it can derive from its existing records and how fast it can have access to it.
