Project Area of Specialization Mechatronics EngineeringProject SummaryThis Industrial Autonomous Car with Image based Maneuvering Capability will be capabale of transfering industrial products from one place to another . It will have the capability of calculating a feasible path from a given starting point to a secified end point. If any obstacle or hurdle came in its path, with the help of camera and its image processing capabilities it will detect the nature of obstacle and will proceed accordingly, i.e. in case of a temporary obstacle the robot will proceed on the current path after the path is clear, and in case of a fixed or immovable obstacle, the robot will calculate alternate path. The complete project will be a scaled prototype.

Project Implementation MethodFirst we will design CAD model of mechanical structure of robot . Then will proceed toward its hardware designing and fabrication. After completing its mechanical hardware then we will select its Electronics components and the main controller along with its camera that will be used for image processing . Then we will proceed toward embedded design of mobile robot .
Then we will select algorithm and then its implementation along with training of our model .
Benefits of the Project- the foremost aim and benefit of this project is idnustrial automation as it automates the process of transferrin cargo from one place to another, for example in a warehouse, without human interventon.
- with inherent safety features, such as obstace avoidance, the automated system will result in improved safety levels of the whole workplace.
- It will Choose the feasable path and calculate alternative routes automatically if original path is not feasible.
A scale prototype of the Industrial Autonomous Car with Image based Maneuvering Capability will be capable of transferring goods in a warehouse like enviornment .
