Project Summary

The effect of weather on COVID-19 spread is poorly understood. Recently, few studies have claimed that warm weather can possibly slowdown the global pandemic, which has already affected over 1.6 million people worldwide.

We collected the daily data of new cases of different cities and also the corresponding weather information (i.e., temperature, humidity, wind pressure). We will analyze what will be the impact of these weather features in raise of COVID-19.

We will also predict that what was the impact of people travelling from an infected area in such city where COVID patients ratio was lesser comparatively.

As we know Corona started in different time period in different cities. We will make graphs of these cities according to their dataset. We will predict that if one city has same pattern as the other one had so that city will face same Corona cases in future like the other one.

Project Implementation Method

In this step we will collect COVID patients dataset and weather dataset, then well will map weather dataset on patients dataset.

We will write a research paper by considering the following points:

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

We will show the correlations between different weather factors and the COVID-19 spread. We then present the time-series analysis on the relationships between temperature, humidity, wind pressure, and confirmed cases of COVID-19. We additionally build a weather-based prediction model to estimate the infection rates of different geographical areas worldwide if there is the second outbreak of coronavirus. And we will write a research paper and we will develop a desktop application as well.
