Hybrid Solar Thermoelectric Generation System and IOT Based Home Automation
The substitute option due to the seriousness of the global energy source shortage and ecological pollution tends to possibly be non-conventional sources of energy that are eco-friendly. Among these elements, as it is dry, inexhaustible, and available solar energy seems to be the most important. Power produced by solar array is conditional on number of circumstances in photovoltaic (PV) systems (e. g. sun radiation, temperature, and incident light angle, etc.). With the increase in temperature, the performance of the solar array decreases. In every oC increase in temperature, output power of PV array decreases by 0.45%. thermoelectric system will be used to decrease the temperature of the module. The use of thermoelectric devices based on silicon material results in increasing efficiency of PV system of 3.6% with a maximum efficiency of 13.06%. The continuous monitoring of the MPP is significant to maximize efficiency of the PV system. In this study the maximum power point tracking algorithm (MPPTs) will be applied to the PV system to obtain maximum power from solar arrays for unfavorable conditions. MATLAB-SIMULINK will combine tests with real time data to show the feasibility of the suggested solution. The improved power of that solar panel will be used to control appliances of home. In this part of the project, a Home Automation System via Android mobile application with Bluetooth Module will also be developed.
We have a Photovoltaic (PV) Array which Produces Electrical Energy, A thermoelectric Cell is connected in parallel to the Photovoltaic array.
Its then Connected to a MPPT Controller which maximizes its power.
Then its connected to a DC-DC Buck Boost Controller for Constant voltage output, to the Battery.
We have a Bluetooth Module with Home automation application connected to Arduino which Drives SCR Driver to Turn on/off Electrical Load.
We have a Solar Panel, a Renewable Energy Source with its Efficiency increased by thermoelectric Cell.
MPPT controller is used for Obtaining maximum power.
A Fixed output is given out of Buck-boost converter which charges the Battery faster.
An android application is used to control Electrical Components connected to the System.
