Now a day’s electricity is most needed facility for the human being. All the conventional energy
resources are depleting day by day. So we have to shift from conventional to non-conventional
energy resources. In this the combination of two energy resources is takes place i.e. wind and
solar energy. This process reviles the sustainable energy resources without damaging the nature.
We can give uninterrupted power by using hybrid energy system. Basically this system involves
the integration of two energy system that will give continuous power. Solar panels are used for
converting solar energy and wind turbines are used for converting wind energy into electricity.
This electrical power can utilize for various purpose. Generation of electricity will be takes place
at affordable cost.

Project Objectives

The main objectives of our project are to generate a low cost renewable energy. In this regard we will generate energy from solar panels and wind turbines. In this way the renewable energy will produce hence the dependency on fossil fuels will decrease. Which would help to reduce pollution from the environment.

Project Implementation Method

The radiations from sun falls on the Solar panel as a result the current is produced. This current is stored in battery via charge controller.
 On the other hand the wind strikes on the blades of rotor. The rotor is connected to main shaft, which spins a generator and generates electricity. This current is also stored via charge controller in battery.The inverter changes the direct current into alternating current.This alternating current is then supplied to the electric load.

Benefits of the Project

Reserves of fossil fuels are decreasing day by day, by using renewable energy the consumption and dependence upon fossil fuels will decrease. Hence demands and prices of petroleum will decrease.
Burning of fossil fuels causes pollution in environment in the form of different hazardous gases. These gases causes health issues, hence use of renewable energy would help to decrease the environmental pollution.
Installation and maintenance of this system will create job opportunities.
Maintenance cost of this system is low hence it won’t put much burden on economy of the country if it would be installed at government level.
It can be used at domestic level so it can be helpful to get rid of high electricity bills.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

Design and fabrication of hybrid solar wind tree.
Analysis of hybrid solar and wind energy for effective working of charge controller.
Designing of inverter.Combining of individual components for making final hybrid wind and solar power system.
