Home Automation System is based on smart mobile application solution. This report provides are detailed working and the features provided by our system. Home Automation system mobile application is based on Arduino and Raspberry Pi. Nowadays more and more devices around us are being connected to the Internet and communicates with each other. There is a network of devices like sensors around us that make our lives easier and perform the day to day tasks without human intervention. A person could control his home appliances went away from home and can check the status of appliances which has left switched on. System provides means to save electricity and reduce bills. User has a complete control over his home. User friendly application has very interactive interface which is very simple to use
The main objective which will be done in the development of home automation system are as follows:
Home automation system that will operate and maintain different appliances. Appliances are controlled by an android application that will control the number of appliances. The system uses a local and cloud database to store the user’s data. We use a cloud database as a backup. A cloud-based database is an efficient and secure way to store user’s data. The system will control automatically according to the schedule. The system will also predict the estimated bill using schedule data that can be stored in the database.
Android Application
A customized android application that will provide a complete view of the appliances. The user will add those appliances that he wants to use. The application provides like add an appliance, remove the appliance, set schedule and View Report. The button will be available on android application to control appliances.
