Heartbeat Based Biometric System
In this project, biometric system based on heartbeat signals (ECG) is proposed. ECG signals are reflection of the mechanical movement of the heart, so these features contain unique physiological information which will serve as a biometric trait to identify different individuals.

Final deliverable will consist of a combined software and hardware solution to use ECG as biometrics. It will be able to measure the ECG, preprocess it for refinement and feature extraction, and then identify to whom the ECG belongs through machine learning given that the person is registered. New ECG id can be added as well, it will be stored in the system after data refinement and feature extraction.
