Project Area of Specialization Cloud InfrastructureProject SummaryNetwork Function Virtualization (NFV) is an emerging technology which has been attracted by the industry's interest. The goal of network virtualization (NFV) is to turn traditional network infrastructure into virtualized networks. NFV depends on virtualized components to give service to its consumers over the physical hardware and network equipment. In this we will use different cloud platforms to implement a NFV network.
Project Objectives• The objective of this project is to design, propose and implement a networking solution that would be friendly and easy to maintain.
• This is going to be achieved using cloud services and virtualization using network function virtualization.
• NFV technology can be used in small offices or industries as well as large scale networks.
Project Implementation MethodDifferent cloud platforms might be observed while deploying an NFV infrastructure to create a virtual environment like virtual network, virtual storage, virtual compute etc. A software platform like hypervisor would be used to run virtualization functions. Virtual network functions like Load balancing and firewall would then be run upon hypervisor.

• One or more than one cloud service(s).
• Virtualization management software like hypervisor.
• Virtual Network Functions.
